Who Takes First Place?: The First Commandment

Exodus 20:3  (ID: 0517)

It feels counterintuitive to place God and other ahead of ourselves. This order of priorities, however, comes directly from the Ten Commandments. In our distracted, idol-filled world, we must realize that God’s blueprint for behavior is meant to introduce us to God Himself as the Lawgiver. As Alistair Begg walks us through the first commandment, he explains that because of who God is and what He has done for us, He should always come first.

3“You shall have no other gods before1 me.
