History cannot be properly understood without the Bible to interpret it—and it is in the Bible that we see that God’s work in history centers on Jesus Christ. Alistair Begg opens Scripture to demonstrate that Jesus is the ultimate Prophet, Priest, and King who was promised from the beginning. As Prophet, He came to deal with our ignorance. As Priest, He heals our alienation from the Father. Finally, as King, He has come to subdue our rebellion.
