The mission of the original twelve apostles provides a pattern for our own mission as Christ’s followers in the world today. Drawing on the Gospels’ accounts of the apostles and the woman at the well, Alistair Begg encourages us to share Jesus in our communities and spheres of influence. Imagine if there were people in heaven one day because we too dared to say, “Come and see a man!”
27Just then ihis disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, “What do you seek?” or, “Why are you talking with her?”
12In these days jhe went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God.
