The Master's Men, Part One

From Series: The Gospel According to Luke, Volume 3

Luke 6:12-19  (ID: 2102)

How did the Master choose the men who would form the foundation of His Church? Alistair Begg points out that amid the religious leaders’ antagonism and the crowds’ adulation, Jesus continued His pattern of faithful prayer. Only after praying all night did He choose His twelve disciples—men who were selected not because they were remarkable, but because Jesus saw how He could mold them into the men they would become.

The Twelve Apostles

12In these days he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God.
