As modern-day believers, we are surrounded by all kinds of authorities vying for our allegiance, from parents, teachers, and doctors to politicians and celebrities. During His final days on earth, Jesus proclaimed His own authority as God’s beloved Son, calling listeners to turn from idolatry and follow Him. Alistair Begg reminds us that we face the same crucial decision. Will we bow before Christ, treasuring Him as the one, true, and living God? Will we acknowledge His authority?
