What does it mean to be “filled with the Spirit”? It is not merely a one-time event for certain Christians or an intense emotional release. Instead, as Alistair Begg explains, all believers must continually submit to the Holy Spirit’s control in every area of their lives. As the Spirit energizes our minds and wills, the result is increasing intimacy with God and obedience that flows from delighting in Him.
