When the followers He had sent out returned, Jesus rejoiced in the fact that God has hidden the truth of the kingdom from the proud and revealed it to the humble. Jesus’ joy reveals the coequal nature of Jesus Christ and God the Father. Alistair Begg highlights the great privilege we have to point others to the God who requires nothing from us but an awareness of our need for Him.
