The role of women in the church has long been a contentious issue. Alistair Begg unpacks it by showing that while men and women are fundamentally equal in standing before the Lord, men have been given a unique position of authority in the church and in the home. This principle is not grounded in archaic patriarchy but rather in the realities of creation. We do well to honor the roles God has established, even if it makes us peculiar in the eyes of the secular world.
