“Not My Will, but Yours”

 (ID: 0118)

Christians often picture Jesus as a confident teacher or loving miracle-worker. In this sermon, Alistair Begg urges us to confront the shocking image of Jesus praying before His crucifixion as a distressed Christ. To understand Jesus more clearly, we must look to His fully displayed human experience, listen to His humble and honest prayer, and learn from His divine and human example of obeying the will of the Father.

42saying, w“Father, if you are willing, remove xthis cup from me. yNevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”
