Jesus Christ is the Lord of history. All of God’s purposes, Alistair Begg explains, find their fulfillment in Him. We can better understand Christ’s centrality by grasping His role as our Prophet, Priest, and King. As Prophet, He addresses our ignorance; He is the Word of God. As Priest, He removes our alienation from God by His death. Finally, as the ascended King, He brings our sinful rebellion to an end. Viewing Jesus rightly changes how we see history—and everything else!
