Meekness

When asked to describe ourselves, how many of us would use the word “meek”? We often associate meekness with weakness or ineffectiveness. As Alistair Begg explains, though, meekness is actually power and authority under control, and it is demonstrated perfectly in the Lord Jesus. As we follow Christ’s example, we discover that meekness starts with a humble estimate of ourselves before God and expresses itself in our attitudes and actions toward others.
