The apostle Paul exercised a two-fold strategy in the course of his ministry: he sought to make God’s Word fully known and to make God’s people fully mature. As Alistair Begg explains, Paul’s means of accomplishing these aims were the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, with a vital emphasis on the person and work of Jesus Christ. Just like the great apostle, we too labor toward this goal, which can only be achieved through the Lord’s gracious strength.
