Man and Woman in Biblical Perspective — Part One

 (ID: 1687)

The headship of Christ over man and of the Father over the Son establishes the biblical pattern for relationships between men and women. Christ remained equal with the Father and the Spirit even as He submitted to the Father’s plan. Similarly, the Bible does not cast women as inferior in any way as they submit to the leadership of men. Alistair Begg notes that the authority and submission in each case is based on love, not coercive manipulation.
