Basics 2010 speaker Rico Tice teaches us that Mark’s Gospel centers around three important questions of identity, mission, and call that each of us must answer to be saved: Who is Christ, why did He come, and what does it mean to follow Him? In Mark, even the disciples were often blind to the correct answers—until God Himself revealed them. Similarly, while we must preach Christ, we do so knowing that it is God alone who opens blind eyes.
