Lessons from Littleton — Part One

 (ID: 2077)

In a world of heartbreak and unspeakable violence, we long to make sense of senseless death. Reflecting on the tragedy at Columbine, Alistair Begg directs us to Jesus’ words in John 3, which identify man’s affinity for sin as the cause of such horrors. Naturally, we wish to address the root of these hateful acts, ensuring they will never happen again. As Scripture teaches, though, only Jesus can reveal evil’s exact source in order to bring us out of darkness and into His light.

19pAnd this is the judgment: qthe light has come into the world, and rpeople loved the darkness rather than the light because stheir works were evil.
