Engaging the culture around us can sometimes be challenging for believers. How can we communicate God’s truth to those whose worldview is so different from our own? Josh Moody provides a framework for understanding through a study of the life and ministry of Jonathan Edwards, the eighteenth-century American pastor and evangelist. Amidst a rise of scientific thought, Edwards perceived new ways to understand God’s sovereignty, using Enlightenment terminology to express eternal truths to his generation. By relying on biblical thinking, Christians can have a solid understanding of reality that enables us to live and speak effectively in today’s context.
