The temptation to think that intellect or strength will sustain us is natural—but God has established a different pattern for His people. Taking instruction from Zechariah 4:6, Alistair Begg provides a reminder of where our dependence truly lies, a warning against using human power to achieve what only God can do, an encouragement to rely on Christ, and a strategy to do so. As Christians, we demonstrate our dependence on God through committing to prayer and the study of His Word.
