The Judgment

 (ID: 2908)

Our everyday actions have consequences of eternal significance. What we do, how we do it, and why we do it are all going to be taken into account by God on the day we stand before Him. Yet as Alistair Begg explains, believers will not face God’s wrath; that has been laid upon Jesus. Rather, our works will be tested to demonstrate the genuineness of our faith. Knowing this should give us urgency and fervency in evangelism and doing good.

10For wwe must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, xso that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
