An Invitation to a Banquet

 (ID: 2218)

While Jesus dined at the house of a prominent Pharisee, He told a parable about a banquet—one with a highly unconventional guest list. Through this story, Jesus revealed a key insight about God’s kingdom, admonishing those who were familiar with Christ but refused to follow Him. As Alistair Begg emphasizes, Jesus’ invitation is open to all people, and those who belong to Him have a mission to bring others to His table.
