The incarnation of Christ, and the virgin birth in particular, is a mystery sometimes relegated to the scrapheap of discarded myths and legends, often in the name of “science.” Alistair Begg, however, shows that there is compelling evidence to support the virgin birth—and also that we need not fear its mysterious elements. Instead, we should accept both in intellectual humility, recognizing that they point to the one who is beyond our capacity to understand and comprehend.
