How Can They Hear?

Romans 10:14–15  (ID: 2516)

God’s call for His people is clear: we are to preach the Gospel to the world. That goes for every Christian—even those who aren’t “professionals” like clergy or missionaries. Alistair Begg demonstrates how we are all called to be, in Paul’s words, “Christ’s ambassadors” to everyone we meet so they might know and call upon the Lord to be saved. This awesome responsibility can only be carried out through the power of Christ, which resides in us through the Holy Spirit.

14How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?3 And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
