When someone is mad at us, we often attempt to make things right by doing what we can to earn back their approval. Pastor Bryan Chapell reminds us that our relationship with God doesn’t follow the same human logic. While we want our goodness to be the currency we use to buy the mercy of God, our best works merit us nothing. Instead, God’s grace is freely given to those who acknowledge that they are justified solely through faith in Jesus Christ.
