When Kirk Cameron heard the Gospel, it transformed him. The actor eagerly shared his faith but soon grew weary as he watched new converts return to their old ways. Looking to the Scriptures, he realized the man-centered message he was proclaiming was far different from Jesus’ approach. Cameron highlights that only when a man’s life is examined against God’s law can his sinfulness be exposed, his need for a Savior be revealed, and the call to repentance be understood as crucial.
