“For me, to live is Christ.” When Paul wrote this phrase in his letter to the Philippians, he captured the very essence of the Christian life. As Alistair Begg demonstrates, these six words reference the personal nature of the Gospel: no one can accept Christ or proclaim allegiance to Him on our behalf. Christianity is also practical, in that it has wisdom to guide us in every single aspect of our lives. Finally, the Christian life is possible, made available to all and attainable by all through Christ, our only sure foundation for living.
21For to me mto live is Christ, and to die is gain.
