Following Jesus

 (ID: 2132)

To follow Christ involves great cost. In Luke 9, we read of three individuals who encountered Jesus but refused to follow Him in favor of other priorities. Genuine discipleship, however, leaves no room for excuse, compromise, or half-heartedness. Alistair Begg warns that there is a great danger in putting off our response to Jesus’ call, for we never know when we will have the opportunity to hear it again.
