While children do not come with personal instruction manuals, the Bible does have something to say about child-rearing. We can gain much insight from the apostle Paul’s direction to fathers not to exasperate their children. Alistair Begg examines the command in Ephesians 6 while considering the ultimate example we have in our heavenly Father.
4Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, ubut bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
