Following Paul’s example, Alistair Begg encourages listeners with an essential foundation of our hope in Christ: the grace of God. Christians have been united to Christ and to His people by grace, and although salvation in Christ is by faith alone, our faith is never alone. Genuine Christian belief is marked by works of faith, costly love, and steadfast hope. Understanding that our hope comes from the grace of God alone should establish in us a response of genuine gratitude.
