Ephesians teaches us, as Alistair Begg puts it, “the grammar of the Gospel.” We can only do and be what God desires because of who Christ is and what He has done. We were dead in our sins, tainted in every way. God, however, made us alive through the work of Jesus Christ. Now He calls us to a new identity and a new life as His chosen saints, reflecting His love and grace to a world that desperately needs it.
