Deep-Seated Corruption

Mark 14:10–11  (ID: 2904)

It’s a staggering thought: someone who had seen all Jesus’ miracles, heard all His sermons, and participated in His ministry still made the choice to betray Him. Judas’ hypocrisy was so well disguised that the other disciples never suspected a thing. Alistair Begg gives us a chilling reminder that some who appear to be devoted to the cause of Christ will not continue to the end because they have not been genuinely converted.

Judas to Betray Jesus

10Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went to the chief priests in order to betray him to them. 11And when they heard it, they were glad and promised to give him money. And he sought an opportunity to betray him.
