The Christ of History

 (ID: 2733)

We cannot understand history without God’s Word—and God’s rule in time focuses on the person of His Son, Jesus. Alistair Begg reminds us of the three great themes that run through the Old and New Testaments, affirming this truth. First, Jesus is our Prophet, who deals with our ignorance by speaking God’s Word. Second, He is our Priest, who deals with our alienation through His sacrifice. Finally, He is our King, who subdues our rebellion and brings all history under His command.

17And phe is before all things, and in him all things qhold together.
