Death is the destiny of every man and woman. We cannot ignore it, and we cannot escape it. But is death the end of our existence? Scripture teaches us that while death is final, it is not the end. As Alistair Begg explains, after death we face God’s judgment and our eternal destiny—and when we do, no amount of money or power will be able to make us right before Him. Only those who place their trust in Christ are assured an eternity in God’s presence.
2It is better to go to the house of mourning
than to go to the house of feasting,
for this is the end of all mankind,
and the living will jlay it to heart.
