Serving God’s people can be challenging, and pastors and church leaders need reminded, encouraged, and equipped to do the basics of Christian ministry well. It’s for that reason that every year, Parkside Church hosts its annual Basics Conference, so that through a mix of Bible teaching, breakout sessions, and time spent together, men who serve as pastors and Christian workers can be built up and return back to their home churches renewed for further Gospel work.
At 2024’s conference, Alistair Begg was joined by Scottish theologian Sinclair Ferguson, minister and evangelist Rico Tice, and others to once again reflect upon and be challenged by the Bible’s instruction on the calling of Gospel service. Whether in preaching, teaching, leading, or simply caring for their people with a holy affection, these messages will inspire those who shepherd God’s flock to ground their labors in the timeless truths of God’s Word and the eternal reality of His love.
