The Role of the Congregation — Part One

Pastors or church leaders may choose to abandon their responsibilities within their God-given role. As Alistair Begg reminds us, however, serving God in the local church is a privilege. Pastors are gifted and commanded to teach, lead, guide, and feed the congregation. In so doing, they prepare the members to perform the works of service which God has prepared in advance for them to do.
