False spiritual leadership – those who operate under the banner of religion but who are really unconverted and un-commissioned, are of great threat to any church. The Colossian Christians were facing heresy by false teachers and Paul’s letter was purposeful in its intent to clarify the truth. Without a Gospel-centered ministry, a church risks being directed by notions and whims.
