Life in the Local Church, Part One
What should life be like in the local church? Church is not a building or a large group of people engaged in religious activities. The church should be a dynamic new community based on truth and love. In a world where people rationalize truth to be whatever it requires fitting their needs and often forgets to love others, we need to take time to reflect on Paul’s writing to the Colossians which is relevant today.
Jesus came into the world to testify to the truth and when we love intelligently, sacrificially, continually, increasingly, purposely and deeply we are truly in the church of the body of Christ.
