Guard Your Freedom, Part One

Paul has set forth the glory and sufficiency of Christ, so that his readers may know they are complete in Him. In this passage, Paul has reached the height of his argument concerning the sufficiency of Christ. The reason Paul is so emphatic is because of the false teachers that were circulating in the sphere of the church. The church was being intimidated by legalism, mysticism and asceticism.
