What is the purpose of baptism? How should it be practiced? To answer such pressing questions, Alistair Begg explains, we must begin with an even bigger one: What does it mean to be a Christian? Through examining the biblical call to repent of sin and turn toward God, we can discern the role that baptism plays in the believer’s life. Being baptized, Scripture shows us, publicly affirms internal belief, outwardly displaying a Christian’s inward conversion.
