How does a pastor determine what to say on a Sunday morning? In this message, Alistair Begg leads us through Paul’s solemn yet simple charge to Timothy to preach the Word of God. As ministers fulfill this biblical call to preach, congregations are also called to receive the Word, patiently trusting that God will fulfill His kingdom purposes.
1I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
