Anything new can seem very appealing. But as the apostle Paul cautioned his young protégé Timothy, our belief and teaching must always be founded on the timeless truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From 2 Timothy 3, Alistair Begg emphasizes the importance of continuing onward in faith, trusting in the Scriptures, and following the examples of godly leaders.
14But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom1 you learned it 15and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
