Jesus Prays for His Disciples — Part Two

John 17:10–12  (ID: 1300)

When Jesus prayed for His disciples in John 17, He also provided insight into His relationship to God the Father. In this message, Alistair Begg explores that relationship and how it affects Christ’s work on believers’ behalf. Assurance that Christ is who He said He was and obedience to His commands are marks of Jesus’ followers. The more we understand Christ’s deity, the more we can rest in knowing the fullness of all the riches we have in Him.

10All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. 11And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. 12While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
