A Call to Unity in Christ
It’s human nature to draw together with others like us—seeking, for example, the company of those who share a similar background or support a common cause. The unity among God’s people is significantly different from these natural human relationships. Here, the young and old, the rich and poor, those from all races and nationalities across time join together to form His Church.
In this series, Alistair Begg examines the foundation for this remarkable Christian unity as set forth by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4. We learn that believers are united into one body not by culture or external similarities, but only through the redeeming work of the Lord Jesus and the indwelling Holy Spirit. As we heed God’s call to walk in these truths, He inspires and enables us to maintain unity with all who are in Christ.
